How to enable WiFi calling on iPhone

WiFi calling lets you make calls and send texts while connected to WiFi, even if there is no phone signal. Here is how to set it up on iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app from the home screen.
  2. Click on Mobile data
  3. Click on WiFi calling under the heading with the name of your network provider.
  4. Turn the switch on labelled WiFi calling on this iPhone and click Continue.
  5. It should now be switched on.

If it brings up an error, you may need to enable it on your network provider’s account management website first. If that doesn’t work, contact your network provider.
Not all network providers support WiFi calling yet, but it is now very common for a provider to support it.
